Cambridge Exam Preparation Programme

Our Cambridge Exam Preparation Programme provides students with the essential skills and strategies for success in either the B2 First exam (formerly the FCE or First Certificate) or the C1 Advanced exam (formerly the CAE), qualifications used and trusted by employers and universities around the world. Our 27.5 hour rigourous preparation programme provides student with a solid understanding of the different sections of the exam and ensures they have the tools to tackle each of these sections.

Our tutors guide students and offer a range of exam preparation strategies and techniques. You work on the following skills:

  • How to communicate clearly and effectively face-to-face
  • Producing a wide variety of texts in coherent English, including reports, stories and letters
  • Expressing different points of view
  • Presenting arguments in a justified and logical manner
  • Achieving the standard of English necessary to follow a course at university level

B2 First Exam

  • Demonstrates you have the necessary English skills to live/work in an English speaking country or study a course taught in English
  • Accepted at many vocational and academic institutions and also a wide variety of international businesses
  • Accepted for entry to foundation/pathway/pre-sessional courses

C1 Advanced Exam

  • An in-depth qualification aimed at students with a high level of English who wish to study or work in an English speaking country
  • Accepted at many vocational and academic institutions and also a wide variety of international businesses
  • Entry requirements vary depending on each university or business
