Eckersley Oxford has considerable experience in organising bespoke courses for school, university and professional groups. Our highly qualified academic team will design a specific programme according the group's needs.

We will carefully organise any aspect of the students' stay in Oxford such as the academic programme, the accommodation, the airport transfer, excursions and social activities.

Project work
The project work consist of a combination of English lessons and completing a project on a specific topic. Some of the projects our students have been involved in are performing a play in a theatre, researching the coffee market in the UK, and producing a school magazine.

In this way they will improve their language skills, build confidence in expressing themselves fluently in English and incorporate new vocabulary by researching, interviewing, filming, writing reports and speaking in front of an audience.

At the end of the course the students receive a compilation of their work in a CD/DVD format. This material could be useful as material for further project development back at school.

Exam preparation
Eckersley Oxford is a recognised exam centre for Trinity College London. We can help students prepare for the Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) and also organise the exam in our premises at the end of the course.

Additionally, we are an authorised centre to prepare students for the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. We will make sure that our programme helps students to succeed in their exam. Please see the school calendar on our website www.eckersley.co.uk for examination dates.

CLIL (Content and language integrated learning)
We can provide both CLIL lessons for students who wish to study a subject in English (e.g. science, maths, history, geography) or CLIL methodology for teachers who have to teach school subjects in English.
