June 2011 - We welcome Céline Rheingans in the office! Céline is from Germany and she will be helping us in the office for one month.

May 2011 - We are running two 3-week Flying Squad projects. Jonathan Kowal is now teaching in Moscow and our Principal Steve Hirschhorn is delivering a teacher training course in China.

January 2011 - The British Council publishes statement about the Eckersley Oxford inspection in August 2010
The British Council regularly inspects members of the English in Britain Accreditation Scheme who offer courses in
English as a foreign language.
The British Council inspected and accredited Eckersley Oxford in August 2010. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see www.britishcouncil.org/accreditation for details).

Points of excellence were awarded in aspects of general management and academic resources, teaching and learning and welfare.
