The British
Council regularly inspects members of the English in Britain
Accreditation Scheme who offer courses in English as a
foreign language.
The British Council inspected and accredited Eckersley Oxford in August 2010. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see www.britishcouncil.org/accreditation for details).
Points of excellence were awarded in aspects of general management and academic resources, teaching and learning and welfare.
The English in
Britain Accreditation Scheme protects overseas students at
accredited organisations in the UK. The Accreditation marque
ensures standards of service and provides access to a
complaints procedure.
We are members
of ENGLISH UK, the association of recognised English
language services. Members of this association promise to
keep the highest possible standards of conduct towards their
students.
ENGLISH UK is
the representative body of private accredited English
language schools in the UK.
Eckersley Oxford is a Trinity College validated CertTESOL course provider.
Trinity CertTESOL providers have all met the Trinity regulations and are monitored by Trinity's panel of moderators. They all have equivalent status and provide the same range of syllabus content and skills development.
