ENGLISH PLUS DRAMA 14 July - 1 August
In the mornings students study in general English classes.
In the afternoons, they study with an experienced drama teacher, using the medium of theatre to use and practise English.
We aim to teach you English rather than drama itself, but use drama as the classroom technique.
Classes will typically include the following:
- reading and acting out scenes and short plays,
- working on intonation and other areas of pronunciation
- watching short scenes from different dramatists, and also from TV and film, and discussing the content, characterisation, style etc.
- improvisation of scenes, ideas, characters role play creating a video of a dramatic scene
The course will also involve working towards a short performance for the rest of the school.
Registration Fee: 65 GBP
Tuition Fee: 230 GBP per week
AFTERNOON COURSES
If you are already in Oxford and have your own accommodation, you can join our General English part-time course
2 - 3.30 pm ( Monday to Thursday, 6 hours per week)
